Male & Female Stripping Units and Blankers
These are made quickly and easily using the D & D Knockout system. Using your normal design software, eg: Kasemake, Impact, Artios, Cimex etc, the design is split into layers with each layer representing a different type of cut, eg: chamfer, cutout, 4pt tool etc. When this design is loaded into the machine controller, the layers are all recognised and the correct machining parameters will be used.
Double sided machining which is important for putting the discrete chamfer on the female stripper is achieved with one click of the mouse. On removal from the machine, all parts are ready for final assembly with screws, carrots, rule etc.

Die Boards
Special cutting tools are available for formes and the machine control software incorporates unique features for this application.
Provided the drawing is saved with lines in the correct pre-defined layers, the appropriate machining settings will automatically be applied when loaded into the machine.

Counters
The Die Maker machine can be used to make counters from pertinax and steel. With a flat machined bed and an accurate ballscrew driven Z axis, it is easy to achieve fine tolerances for consistent depth control when cutting the grooves. An automatic toolset sensor which is a standard feature on these machines ensures that all tools used are precisely calibrated relative to each other.
The automatic toolchange system means that the machine can be started and then left to complete the job whilst the operator continues with other tasks.
