Drive System
Precision helical rack drives on X and Y. This offers superior high speed performance for quiet running, greater accuracy, smoother cutting and allows greater acceleration and feed rates to be used where required. Wear is reduced and life of the rack and pinion system is increased as a result of distributing the load over several gear teeth.

Ballscrew drive on Z axis.

Twin drives and motors on X for maximum stiffness and automatic self squaring.

Up to 40m/min depending on size and configuration, for slewing and cutting operations

Datum Sensors
Auto seek sensors on all axes for accurate and fast datum calibration.

Tool Calibration
Automatic sensing of cutter length to save time and ensure consistent and precise cutting depth control.

Second generation A2MC machine controller with full network connectivity for program file transfer, diagnostics and live on-line help.

XMC-E machine control software.
This provides complete control in 2D
and full 3D over the cutting process. Features include:
